Fukuka - May 13
On May 13, True Mother arrived in Japan, the second nation of her 120 nation world tour of the Universal Peace Federation Rally for the Restoration of the Homeland with Kook-jin nim, Yeon-jin nim, Jeong-jin nim and Shin-jun nim.
The rally this day was held in Fukuoka with over 7,300 participants. The rally began at 1:30 pm with Mr. Katsumi Otsuka, co-chairperson of UPF Japan, serving as emcee. Rev. Hideo Oyamada, Chairman of UPF Japan, was introduced to the stage where he explained about the significance of the holy wine ceremony. Rev. Oyamada and his wife lead the holy wince ceremony for the representative families on stage and all 7,300 plus participants from the Kyushu area.
In his benediction Rev. Oyamada emphasized the meaning of this rally: "Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the True Parent of Heaven, Earth and Humankind has come to Japan with her children represented by Kook-jin nim to bless this land beginning with the Kyushu region. We are grateful for her blessings to Japan so that it may fulfill its role as the mother nation of this world. We pray that our families and all the people in the Kyushu region may be offered to God. Let them become true couples and true families to create a true nation." He also touched upon the historical significance of the present times praying, "We are at a significant point in time where through the True Parents of Heaven, Earth ad Humankind the earth and spirit world can revert back to God's love, life and lineage thereby creating God's homeland, the peaceful, ideal kingdom which has been the desire of God, humanity and the entire universe."
Hiroshima - May 14
After the benediction, Rev. Kwak took the podium and spoke to all participants in English. Here are some excerpts from his address.
"Today we have welcomed Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the True Mother, and her son Kook-jin Moon to Fukuoka. They are here on behalf of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the True Father to establish a nation centered on God and to create eternal peace.
Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and Mr. Kook-jin Moon will convey God's message and blessing to us. Let us be enlightened so that each of us may reach a new spiritual standard and take this opportunity to be determined to live for the sake of others. The message you are about to hear will allow you to understand the source of human suffering and conflict and will show you the true path that leads to eternal peace.
God is alive and has worked throughout history in order to lead humanity toward the world of eternal peace. God has led us today to this gathering. God is trying to bless this nation through you who are gathered here today. Let us become a member of God's extended family and the citizen's of heaven." Takamatsu - May 15
After a thunderous applause, Kook-jin nim took the podium and delivered his address in English under the title, "God's Family and the Kingdom of the Peaceful, Ideal World." Tears were on his face as he read part of the speech depicting God's heart of sorrow.
"Who can comprehend the sorrowful, painful heart of God? God lost the realm of His lineage, lost His children, and was forced to hand over the ownership of the nations and world to Satan. There was only one way to recover the realm of His lineage and ownership. This was the path to win the natural subjugation of Satan, to have Satan surrender voluntarily. What is the secret to accomplish this? It is only by the power of true love, when we love our enemies more than we love our own children."
At the end of his speech Kook-jin nim was greeted with a thunderous applause. After his speech there was a short video presentation. After the end of the video presentation True Mother took the stage and spoke on "God's Model Ideal Family and Nation and the Peace Kingdom." Her speech which she delivered in English lasted for thirty-five minutes. She spoke on God's purpose of creating human beings, His sorrow of losing his children, and the significance and value of marriage and the family. Her voice grew strong as she read the script and at the end of the speech she asked all 7,000 plus participants to become the leaders who can encourage the whole to take action for God's sake.
Kobe - May 16
After the speech twelve couples went to the stage. True Mother and Kook-jin nim officiated the holy water ceremony and proclaimed the wedding vows. In her benediction True Mother prayed:
"On this day, May 13, 2006, the sixth year of Cheon Il Guk, 7,000 people from Fukuoka have gathered here to become the owners of true love, true life and true lineage. In Heavenly Father's name, they are gathered here as the fruit of the immeasurable efforts and love of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind. This unprecedented grace and infinite true love from heaven is being bestowed onto them at this time in their life where they are being connected to the true lineage, unconditionally. Let them live according to the word and practice a life of living for the sake of others. Let them stand before their neighbors, nation and world as the citizens of Cheon Il Guk and become true families that can fulfill their given responsibility. All this we pray in the name of True Parents. Amen. Amen. Amen."
After the benediction, Kook-jin nim officially
declared that their wedding and blessing was consummated. Souvenirs were presented and a commemorative photo was taken. The rally ended with three cheers of eug-mansei.
