Peru: A Foundation for the Future

The Main Hall, initially prepared for one thousand people, had to be extended to its  capacity of 1,200 people. Outside the hotel, an additional hundred were unable to enter.

The audience followed the program seriously, applauding at moments with enthusiasm during the speeches given by True Mother and In Sup Nim.

Some of our Ambassadors for Peace participated on stage as representative couples for the prayer of blessing; among them were General Jhon Caro and his wife; Damin Awad, President of the Islamic Association, and his wife; Rev. Luis Acero, from the Alianza Cristiana y Misionera, and his wife; Dr. Hugo Diaz and his wife; and Mr. José Lay, a former minister in the government of President Fujimori, and his wife.

The comments of the participants at the end of the event were all very positive. Everyone from politicians to religious people congratulated the conference organizers and promised to keep working with us in the future.

The spiritual atmosphere was very good, in combination with the beautiful environment of the hotel itself and the nice conference room and setting.
